Jewel with a group
Jewel is one of the most photographed buildings in Singapore. The indoor waterfall and the forest planting around it make an instant talking point, and colleagues who rarely share photos from work events often do from this one.
Remember that it is a working airport building
Jewel sits beside an airport terminal. Travellers with suitcases, families meeting arrivals and shoppers all share the same walkways. A group activity has to fit around them. Formats that move in small teams and leave no fixed setup in busy corridors tend to work far better than anything that needs a large stage or a cordoned area.
Plan the journey both ways
For many offices in the city, Jewel is a trip rather than a short hop. Decide early whether people will travel on their own by train or meet at the office for a chartered coach. Self travel is flexible but leads to staggered arrivals. A coach keeps the group together but needs a clear pick-up point and time.
Think about the return as well. A day that ends in the east of the island is easy for some colleagues and a long ride for others.
Keep groups small and visible
- Split the group into teams of six to eight with a named lead for each.
- Agree a single regroup point that is easy to find and away from main walkways.
- Share a short contact list so team leads can reach the organiser quickly.
- Set a firm end time and a final meeting place.

Check before you commit
Opening hours, attraction access and any rules for group activities are set by the operator and can change. Check the official Jewel Changi Airport site before you fix the date.
